I have always loved reading. I remember snuggling up to my mom while she read everything from A Child's Garden of Verses by Robert Louis Stevenson to The Little Golden Storybooks. Did any of you ever read The Poky Little Puppy or The Monster at the End of this Book (Sesame Street) ?
When my children were little, we would spend hours pouring through books together. I think that we wore out The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Good Night Gorilla and Brown Bear, Brown Bear!
As an adult, you will always find me with a pile of books on hand to read. Since I teach middle school, I tend to only read fiction and nonfiction that students your age would read. So, I hope that you can find something on these pages that inspires you to become a reader if you've been turned off by reading and to read more if you love to read. -Ms. Caprio
